Hello Friends, Family, and Community Supporters,
We so appreciate your help. We did it! We surpassed our goal of 50k – current total is $51,476. It truly was an amazing day. A little more than a month ago, we began in earnest to prepare for our May 12 event. Many of you devoted time in your busy lives, helping us to collect all the ingredients that made the event a success so quickly. It was so fun, too! Thank you for supporting The Hoffman-Kipp family in such a loving and concrete way ~ this generosity will enable Peter to seek treatments in Europe and in Seattle.
Over the next few weeks, we will be posting pictures, sending thank you notes and finishing up all the silent auction/event final details. We wish it were the case that this effort sealed the deal! But, Peter’s medical expenses will probably top $150,000 this year. Therefore, we will continue to solicit donations online and organize a few small parties. Past experience has taught us that we will also need to do a big event again next spring.

This will help us to keep our message continually widening throughout our informal networks that made this party possible. We hesitate to overwhelm you with emails, so if you would make a commitment to go to our Facebook and to help us spread the word by sharing your likes, comments, and “friending” our page, that would be an easy way to circulate our message.
